WITHOUT setting high expectations, the meeting arranged to face the iconic figure of South Korea, Lee Seung Gi is too sweet to remember forever. He is not random.

Lee Seung Gi, 36, recently attended the Lee Seung Gi Asia Tour 2023 event in Kuala Lumpur 'The Dreamer's Dream-chapter 2' and had time to complete an exclusive interview with RAP.

At a special invitation arranged by Viu, the session with him was quite enjoyable. From the moment she emerged into the signature session room at the EQ Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, her charms radiated.

In the entertainment arena of South Korea, Lee Seung Gi's name is no longer a household name. He is an idol, inspiration and reference for many new artists on the rise.

Lee Seung Gi has too many pages to reach in his career. As a child of the arts, he dreams that one day he will also be able to win a trophy commensurate with his efforts and talent on the international stage.

"If I win a prestigious award like the Oscar, it must be the highest honor for me.

"Actually, I have an upcoming film that will be launched next year called About Family. Of course, before it is released, I will go to the Cannes film festival.

"Not just attending for fun, but I will also meet producers and other external actors. Surely that opportunity has become a very valuable opportunity for me," he said.

One thing is for sure, Lee Seung Gi refuses to put his ego first as a senior artist when new talent emerges rapidly.

He said, he was very motivated by the dumping of artists rising in one corner.

"I feel like I can't believe it and I really feel lucky. I know there are many shortcomings, but I am still supported non-stop by them," he said.

"So, when Covid-19 has passed and now doing the Asian tour series, I am very prepared, many plans to meet fans all over the world.

As a senior artist, there is no reason for Lee Seung Gi to follow his own head in order to move forward.

For him, the entertainment industry always has a big transition to follow without feeling like he is in his comfort zone.

"I believe there have been significant changes in the industry. It's not just what is presented in each content, but even the entertainment industry itself.

"Because of that, I always think I'm not in my comfort zone. I'm in a position where I have to constantly evolve.

"It is extremely important for me to show what other trends are coming, something that I can show as a leader. Always follow and set certain trends," he said.

As an artist who is too busy with a tight schedule, how does Lee Seung Gi stay energetic? He revealed that he did not play sports to boost his spirits.

"Nothing in detail, but I do swimming, yoga, a lot more than sports exercise. I think it really helps to keep the daily rhythm more awake.

"For example, if there is a performance, I make sure to raise my 'mood' and physicality as a way to restore my spirit," he said.

Lee Seung Gi has been quite a phenomenon since making a name for himself over a decade ago. In addition to being an actor, he also sings and actually has his own greatness in rock ballad singing.

Why is Lee Seung gi in The Philippines?

South Korean star Lee Seung Gi was spotted granting photo ops with fans while touring Vigan in Ilocos Sur.

Photos of the K-drama actor exploring Vigan circulated on Thursday as fans gushed over his surprise visit to the country.

The Vagabond actor was photographed exploring some of the city’s tourist spots including Calle Crisologo and Baluarte Zoo.

Luis Christian Singson, the son of former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson, also shared a photo with Seung Gi, saying they met the actor over dinner.

“Sobrang bait at humble niya,” Singson described Seung Gi.

He was also spotted staying at a resort owned by Chavit Singson in the municipality of Narvacan.

“Actually, the itinerary of Seung Gi is from Hon. Chavit’s house in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur. Then (he) visited Baluarte Zoo and had a dinner at Calle Crisologo, in Vigan City,” uploader Khris Jann Tabag shared.

While most fans presumed he’s in the country for vacation, others speculated if he’s filming for an upcoming TV project.

A source said that the actor was supposed to hold a meet and greet early today. But no reason was provided why it didn’t push through.

Known for his roles in My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, Law Cafe and A Korean Odyssey, Seung Gi last visited the Philippines in 2019 for a fan meet.

The 36-year-old actor recently announced his engagement to actress girlfriend Lee Da In. They are set to tie the knot next month.
